December TNT Wrap-Up
I couldn’t think of a better way to end the year then with such a festive throwdown at Big Bear Cafe. A packed house, District Cup Finals and A-game pours throughout the night made it a terrific evening. It was bittersweet for us to send off our own, Christy Baugh, as she’ll be moving to Durham, NC to kick ass in the graphics department working with our pal Katy Meehan at Counter Culture Coffee. While we couldn’t be happier for her, this last throwdown was certainly an opportunity to give Baugh a proper sendoff from the DC coffee family.
Our generous sponsors Counter Culture Coffee, Baratza, MadCap Coffee, Vigilante Coffee, Durkl, and Toki Undergound got the District Cup winner and finalists hooked up with these goodies.

What a crowd! BBC was a packed house indeed. There were lots of priceless Baugh send-off moments during the oh-so- cheesy video. I think Jana’s hug says it all.
By the end of the night, it came down to the gentlemen of Peregrine Espresso. Mr. Ryan Jensen vs. Travis Beckett for the big win. Pouring into coupe glasses, Travis (pour on the left) took the win for both District Cup and the December TNT.
Our District Cup Top 3! Travis Beckett, Emily Whitcomb, and Colin Whitcomb. They all look excellent in their burr medals.
Thanks again to everyone for coming out and for making the 2012 DC TNT year so fantastic. We hope everyone had/has a very happy holidays and we’ll see you in 2013!
